Naples United Church of Christ, established in 1973, is known throughout Naples not only for our iconic white steeple and highly rated preschool, but for our support for initiatives that call for social justice and compassion as a “Traditional Church for Progressive People.” Our worship style is traditional, both liturgically and musically, often featuring instrumentalists from the Naples Philharmonic during Sunday worship services. Ideologically, however, we are progressive in our openness to a wide theological spectrum and enthusiastically celebrate the variety of backgrounds, identities, life experiences, and orientations that make up the culture of the church.
Naples UCC is a congregational church belonging to the United Church of Christ denomination and advocates for personal and social responsibility in living out the gospel of Jesus Christ. We emphasize the importance of being mission-driven, striving to show that actions speak louder than words, and are very active in community and global initiatives.
Worship services are held each Sunday both in-person and streamed online. May through October, a single service is held at 10 a.m., and two services are held at 9 and 11 a.m. during season. The Naples UCC campus features a paved Chartres-style labyrinth, available to the entire Naples community 365 days a year.
